Driving 63% Traffic Growth with an Integrated Inbound Strategy
Role and Company: Digital Marketing Specialist II, Modea
Business Context
Modea operates in a competitive healthcare digital consultancy market where long-term inbound visibility and qualified engagement are essential to growth. In 2023, inbound performance was fragmented across channels, and there was no unified strategy to connect content, SEO, email, and social efforts into a cohesive system.
The business needed a structured inbound approach to drive sustained traffic growth and improved conversion performance over time.
My Role
As Marketing Coordinator and later Digital Marketing Specialist II, I owned the development and execution of Modea’s inbound digital strategy. I was responsible for aligning website content, SEO, email marketing, and social distribution into a unified performance engine, working closely with Analytics to measure and iterate on outcomes throughout execution.
Scope of Ownership
Inbound strategy and roadmap across website, content, email, and social channels
SEO-driven content planning and optimization
Blog strategy and editorial execution
Email distribution and nurture to support content engagement
Performance tracking and reporting in partnership with Analytics
Approach
Shifted inbound marketing from ad hoc publishing to a structured, SEO-led strategy aligned with Modea’s core expertise
Rebuilt blog planning around high-intent healthcare search themes to improve relevance and reach
Integrated email distribution and LinkedIn participation to extend content visibility
Used performance data to refine topic selection, cadence, and prioritization over time
Outcomes
As the inbound strategy matured, Modea achieved meaningful improvements in both website visibility and engagement quality:
63% increase in website traffic over 11 months
11% improvement in website conversion rate within 6 months
Strengthened engagement across content, email, and social channels
Established a scalable inbound framework that continues to inform editorial and distribution decisions
Why It Mattered
This work transformed Modea’s inbound marketing from a set of disconnected efforts into a coordinated growth engine. By aligning strategy, execution, and measurement, I helped build a foundation that drove sustained growth in visibility and engagement and positioned the organization to scale its digital presence..
