In 2025, Modea undertook a comprehensive brand refresh, an initiative that extended beyond visual updates to reimagine how the organization communicated its expertise, positioned its services, and connected with audiences across its digital experience.
The refresh originated from a strategic recommendation to modernize Modea's brand positioning and digital presence. As a key stakeholder throughout the process, I was interviewed as part of the brand research phase, contributed to shaping the strategic direction, supported key decisions across messaging and positioning, and led the implementation of changes across the website experience.
The refresh was part of a broader coordinated initiative that also included migrating to a new email marketing platform, transitioning to a CRM built around customizable marketing workflows while keeping sales at the center, and implementing a more structured and aligned lead scoring system. I led recommendations, design, and execution across all of these workstreams — but the website remained the primary focus and primary driver of audience impact.
The initiative focused on improving how messaging, content hierarchy, educational resources, case studies, and conversion pathways worked together — centering on how audiences discovered, evaluated, and engaged with Modea's expertise online.
As healthcare conversations around AI, digital transformation, accessibility, interoperability, and patient engagement continued accelerating, the refresh also needed to support more sophisticated thought leadership positioning and audience communication across channels.
The work required balancing healthcare industry complexity with clearer communication systems, stronger editorial consistency, and more connected audience experiences throughout the website ecosystem.
